| RAIDER TEAM EARNS 2D AT USAF MEET: The Trask Raider team was frustrated in the sixth and final event at Hunt HS (USAF JROTC) near Wilson, NC, Saturday. Earning an impressive 3:31 performance on the first aid litter carry/obstacle course, Titan contingent was disappointed to hear that they had accrued a three minute penalty by not taking a knee at the end. With all scores standing, the Titans captured second in the PT Test and the Rope Bridge and third in the Commander's Event (USMC pull-ups)to finish the meet six points out of first place overall. Pedro Lopez's 289 of 300 on the PT test put him second among competing males at this meet by a single point; i.e., a Pender Cadet scored a 290. Excellent overall effort by the Titan Raiders. Pictures to follow. |

| JROTC PROVIDES "PRINCE CHARMINGS" FOR PRIMARY SCHOOL CINDERELLAS: Some dozen Trask JROTC Cadets took turns escorting the little princesses of Rocky Point Primary School from the greeting point in the hall to their "Cinderella" ballroom in the school's gym. While for some "only Dad would do," the majority felt a special wave of pride being escorted by a uniformed member of the Trask Battalion. |
