HOMEWORK HOTLINE: Classes will concentrate on uniform issue and battalion organization; Tues through Thurs. PT is scheduled for Friday.

JROTC REMEDIATION: Offered twice weekly beginning immediately after school for one hour on Tuesday, Thursday or both and by appointment only; i.e., sign-up for remediation with the appropriate instructor NLT one day prior the instructional date.

TOPSAIL JROTC PRESENCE will or will not continue next SY based largely on funding issues. Decision briefing will be held at Fort Bragg during the last week of July, 2010; will advise.

JCLC SUCCESSES numerous for Trask Cadets and include: The number two honor graduate from 150 participants--Robert McCaskill; the camp's "Iron Man" competition winner from over 100 male participants at camp--Sam Chavez; tour as Battalion Commander--Jacob Stubbs; tour as Camp Command Sergeant Major--Justin Davis; member of camp's top land navigation team (of four)--Beth Williams. Additionally, Justin Norman received an "outstanding cadet" rating as, of course, did MaCaskill. On whole, an outstanding camp experience for all concerned.

RAIDER ALERT: Whereas the Titans have accumulated a number of regional and state level Raider Team championships, we have not won an overall championship either of the last two years. Raider mandate is to prepare now for the upcoming season. Competition is growing stronger. We must grow stronger with it!

ACADEMIC AWARDS NIGHT brings lots of smiles. Many Cadets do the "work of the Battalion" all year just to earn special, end-of-year award recognition from the Command (Superior Cadet Awards) or from a number of fraternal and patriotic organizations. Shown here are eleven of the 14 unit members recognized at Trask (flanking the Sojourner award presenter, Mr John Chandler)and the members of the Topsail Detachment similarly recognized.

THREE HOUR CRUISE: The sixth annual military ball aboard the Henriette III Riverboat went off with only minor hitches this weekend. On whole, a good time was had by all.
